Sportsman Park is located 2 miles North of Cylinder and 7 miles East of Emmetsburg.
From Highway 18 go East on 370th street 1/2 mile to 530th Avenue (N60). Go North 1 mile to 360th Street. Go West 1/2 Mile on gravel and the entrance to Sportsman Park is on the South side of the road. Click the image for driving directions.
Membership in the Palo Alto Gun Club is required to use the facilities at Sportsman Park. Your membership helps maintain the grounds, the buildings, and all of the other amenities we enjoy at Sportsman Park.

Sportsman Park is home of the "Hot Shots", a youth Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation" team.

There are multiple organizations which regularly schedule activities at Sportsmans Park. This includes, but is not limited to, the Palo Alto Gun Club, Palo Alto County Sheriffs Department, Emmetsburg Police, Emmetsburg Hot Shots, Iowa Lakes Community College Shooting Sports, and Ducks Unlimited. Sportsmans Park may be closed or limited in use during these scheduled activities.
